Lovely stay in a nice clean room, 2 minutes away from Leith Walk and trams and buses into town if so desired. Bed was very comfortable and room could easily sleep 2 or 3 as there was a single bed as well. Well worth the stay and great value for money.

Cairn Hotel
Nice and quiet location despite it being not too far from roads and the daily walk to Calton Hill around the corner was lovely. Great location to be able to walk to the likes of the Royal Mile, Holyroodhouse, Arthurs Seat etc. The room was very nice, clean and large enough, especially as a solo traveller. ...

Pillars House
Good value and well located - just a 2 minute walk to the tram stop. Free tea, coffee, mineral water, biscuits provided. The room was pleasant, and I was grateful for the free upgrade upon arrival! I would definitely stay here again.

No tea and coffee in the room. We called reception and had to call again after one hour of waiting for it, even then it didnt get delivered to the room.
