"The bathroom and room were small! But it was clean ! The staff were nice ! Breakfast was basic and parking is definitely first come first served! The first night we had parking!"

"My room wasn’t ready, the tub drained extremely slowly, the main light didn’t work properly and the carpet was stained."

"Family of 3- room was exactly what we expected. Location was great! We love to utilize the subway and this hotel was close to 3 different transit lines which made it super easy for us to navigate and get anywhere we needed to be in Manhattan. Loved being able to walk to Staten Island Ferry, Wall Street, Battery Park, and loads of local eateries like Liberty Bagel and Tacombi. We loved being able to have somewhere safe to keep our luggage before we checked in and after check out so we could continue to explore NYC. All the staff were lovely and the hotel was impeccably clean."

"Brought something to eat. Got off at my floor and saw the ice machine was close to my room. Went out to get ice. Machine wasn’t working! Called downstairs. They were shocked the ice machine wasn’t working! I wasn’t. Last time Expedia had on there website that a whirlpool was on premises and in use.10 years ago it was. Has been filled in since! Pathetic!"

"The stay had a bit of a mixed experience. Check-in started off with a very long line, which was frustrating at first, but once an additional associate stepped in, things moved along much faster and more efficiently. Unfortunately, the atmosphere during the evening wasn’t as pleasant. A guest from the room next to ours—who appeared to have had quite a bit to drink—was at the bar loudly complaining that it wasn’t happy hour and repeatedly claimed we were being too loud. Despite her behavior, we were the ones approached and warned about noise, which felt a bit unfair given the situation. We tried to be accommodating and even asked if we could relocate to the lobby sitting area, and were initially told that would be fine. However, once the night shift associate came on, we were told we could no longer sit there and would need to go outside instead. Considering it was about 40 degrees, that wasn’t a reasonable option. Overall, the inconsistency in communication and handling of the situation made for a frustrating experience. If you’re considering traveling with a group and hope to spend time together at the hotel, I would steer away from this one, as that doesn’t seem to be something they accommodate or encourage. "

"I was utterly surprised once I got inside the hotel. Very spacious and clean exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was included and valet parking."

"My sister and I stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotel Edison Friday May 1st to Sunday May 3rd, 2026. During my stay I was impressed with a manager in bar/restaurant area where I witnessed her expertly handle two different situations with customers staying at the hotel. She was calm, respectful and in the end made everyone happy. I am not one to write reviews but felt some positive feedback was important. I was told by from desk her name was Sue the catering manager."
