"First off, I want to say the staff was helpful in every way, really making us as comfortable as possible. With that said, we encountered some real issues: The first room’s bathroom smelled bad and had ants. They moved us the next day to another room, but this time the shower overflowed due to a clogged drain. So they nicely moved us again to our third room the next day. The only problem there was no TV and no soap for sink or shower, only shampoo. We only learned that the water from the faucet was not potable by a sign over the sink in 2 of our rooms. Our last room had no sign, so it’s possible for guests to make the mistake of drinking the tap water. They did not discuss this with us at check in. If someone who stays there, who doesn’t read English, they might consume that water. To their credit, they did supply the guests with fresh filtered water in the lobby and restaurant. I want to emphasize that this an okay review because it seems the owners are trying their best to live up to their guests needs. "

There’s no elevator and no breakfast, and my mountain view room was on the third floor, but the hotel staff carried my luggage up without being asked. I’d usually leave in the morning and be out the whole day, but I genuinely looked forward to coming back to that bed at the end of it. The staff handled my island hopping booking completely. The whole thing required no effort from me at all. In the morning I found my guide quickly, and standing at the crowded shore watching everyone else scramble around, I was glad I’d let the hotel sort it.""

"Gorgeous property! Our seaside cottage was just perfect. Very beautiful view. The restaurant also had a lovely view and very good food. There is a free tuk-tuk service to take you into the little town. But it is only a 10 minute walk anyway. The pools were great and open til 11pm. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. And the staff went above and beyond in every way. You would pay double or more for this hotel in many other countries. We were so happy with our choice to stay here."

"Seda Lio was a complete surprise. I am glad I booked it. The location is perfect. Every evening after a long day of excursions, we spent time at the infinity pool with drinks in our hands from the bar and watched the sunset at the beach. The beach is beautiful, your own perfect slice of heaven. I'm actually glad we didn't stay in el nido because that area looked very congested and busy. Hotel staff is awesome. They were always willing to help. The tricycle was only 20 minutes ride to the town and costs just 300 each way. Food at the restaurant and the bar was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights. I would stay here again. "
