"My stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! The accommodations are top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. However, I encountered a significant issue with parking that I feel compelled to mention. When I reserved the room through Expedia, I had specifically paid for parking, only to find out upon arrival that they exclusively offered valet service, which incurred an additional $25 charge. This was misleading and quite disappointing, as I expected a seamless parking experience based on my reservation. While this miscommunication reflects poorly on Expedia, it did not overshadow the overall excellence of my experience at the hotel. The hospitality and quality of the property truly stand out, and I would recommend it to others despite the parking issue. "

"My sister and I stayed for my birthday. The staff are above and beyond excellent they took time to share stories and make as comfortable as possible.. we were in 205 where we had access to the veranda.lovley place to sit and very peaceful..had valet parking checked car in upon arrival and never really needed to get it back till we left. ($86$) Was the charge . A lil steep but worth it cuz I wouldn't wanna try and drive there . Everything was within walking distance. Had some ghostly experiences nothing to scary . But could probably be explained away if we tried to debunk it. But we were there to relax and have a good time and we most definitely did.. the complimentary breakfast was really cool the overall hotel was nice very historic lay out . Was amazing how they tried to keep as much as possible to it's true state. Careful of the uneven floors and the steep stairs. I even joked that it was built to keep you off balance. Felt like the whole building was out of level well actually the whole town nothing seemed level lol. Was hard to keep my bearings but once I got accustom to it all was great. .. I didn't get to take many pics cuz my phone would not hold a charge! DEFINITELY WILL STAY AGAIN. If your looking for hospitality this is a place to be. It's like staying staying with family .CON: was the people on the street asking for money.. Approaching us every time we went out . Not that I didn't want to help but I don't carry cash. Heartbreaking to see so many homeless. "
