"Lovely room, quiet hotel but with city centre location "

"The property was very clean, amd the surroundings absolutely lovely, even despite the heavy rain of storm Claudia. It's an old, OLD building, so some creaks and age-related setbacks were expected. However it does seem that the maintenance team is slacking somewhat. Mine and my neighbours' toilets had poor drain venting, and would gurgle loudly. A few electrical sockets were loose or broken. The electric radiator seemed to struggle to keep a comfortable temperature on colder nights (0°C), having been placed bizarrely next to the old single-pane windows. The staff however were top-notch and the hotel was pristinely clean, with quite a solid breakfast option. Parking was quite plentiful, but beware the kerbs and dips in lowered cars. Overall a nice experience, but maintenance could be better. "

"Excellent parking and a handy EV Charger on the pub site. Very low key entrance check in but everyone was fab and could hear no sounds from room, worried about mc donalds outside bur great nights sleep"
