"The entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke, and felt off from the very beginning. Online the place looked very promising and though the lobby looked out dated I had held out hopes for the rest of the amenities. Getting in the elevator you are immediately greeted with the smell of marijuana and once you're dropped off on your floor you're met with hallway bathrooms, beat up walls and doors, and once again the incredibly overpowering smell of smoke. In our room the bathroom counters had not been cleaned, there were dirty towels on our floors and spots on our blankets. Confident that there was no way our sheets could be clean or that i could continue to stay for the night i attempted to call down to the front desk to see what could be done only to find out that the phone actually had no cords at all. They were able to refund me for the two other nights i was not going to stay but would not compensate for the night i checked in for, though I was in the building less than 20 minutes. "

" Checked in my restroom had pee all over the toilet like the maid didn't even bother, there was no breakfast, paid for parking thru Expedia but it was not honored at the site, and no breakfast"

"I have been staying here a couple of times and would definitely stay again if needed. The rooms are extremely clean, the area is safe and the building is gated and safe as well. The staff are always kind and helpful."

"It needs a working fan inside that room that I rented and on top of that it could really use a shower curtain but that's about it oh along with the sockets working couldn't charge my phone all night"

"Bathroom was moldy and shower and tub were filthy with black scum in crevices. Hair on the floor indicated that it wasn’t swept after the last guest. Otherwise it was basic and gave what I needed which was a cheap roof, bed, shower. The front office person was accommodating."

"The property is in need of serious renovation and updates. I was disappointed that there were not more amenities. The staff was somewhat responsive but it took a little longer than expected to resolve a few issues. It’s a good location so I hope it will be upgraded. "

"The door to our room was jammed on multiple occasions. The room key did not work and at one point had us standing trying to unlock it for 10+ minutes. The room was not properly cleaned out and there was many hairs in the shower. There was a man late Friday night who was being very creepy in the hallway next to our door. Saying he worked in the building and could help us but had no uniform and looked nothing like someone who worked in the building. It was very unsettling for two young women late at night. I will not be returning. "

"The building is lovely and beautifully furnished. My room was a bit more tight than expected but comfortable. The rooftop was a great space for a quiet hangout. Wifi was fast. Great small spots nearby like Little Bird bar, Golden Lotus Vegan restaurant, and Oakland Street Food Co. I will stay here again!"
