nettes hotel, aber leider Haare überall im Bett!

Der Riad ist leicht zu findem direkt an der Hauptstraße (auf der aber keine autos fahten dürfen) ins der Medina gelegen. Man ist mitten im Geschehen. Es ist auch alles sehr schön eingerichet..die zimmer sehen nett aus aber leider waren auf dem ganzen bett haare verteilt...auf dem kissen und auf dem laken. Der manager meinte darauf hin er hätte kein ersatz bettlaken und überhaupt wäre das ja kein problem, da man die haare ja einfach abmachen könne. Die haare wären der Putzfrau wohl vom kopf gefallen beim reinigen ( na die putzfrau muss mittlerweile ja schon kahl sein :p) Das ersatzbett, dass sich auf auf einer kleinen empore im zimmer befindet, konnte leider auch nicht als Ersatzteillager herhalten, da dessen laken auch mit haaren verziert war. Aus dem Badezimmer drang auch noch ein recht modriger Geruch.. Allgemein schön eingerichtet und gut gelegen, aber Sauberkeit geht bei mir immer vor.. von daher.. keine Empfehlung!

First rate service

The service we received at this charming riad was second to none. The staff could not do enough for us and we were always welcomed with huge smiles. The riad location is ideal for people who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the medina and a huge variety of cafes and restaurants can be found close by. We will not bother to look for other riads to stay in when we visit next because we were so pleased with the value for money and the first class service we believe it can't be beaten

Lovely, traditional hotel

Excellent experience. Beautiful little hotel with a wonderful roof terrace. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with delicious pancakes and orange juice. Highly recommended.

A great Riad

The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring the Medina and all the sites of Marrakech. Our room was small and a little unusual with a curtained en suite. The large clay bath was novel and didn't at first look too appealing but after a day of walking round the souks it was a treat to sink into it for a nice hot soak. The bed was large, extremely comfortable with good quality bedlinen. Breakfast was very good and more than we could eat. Hamid and Fatima looked after us very well and we would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to others. We would also recommend The Toubkal Restaurant only a short walk away which served good inexpensive food.

Comfortabel verblijf in fijne Riad

Wij zien een hotel over het algemeen als een plek met een bed en een dak boven ons hoofd. Het Riad Caverne D'Ali Babba is veel meer dan dat. Door de fijne kamers en de gastvrije eigenaar is het een tijdelijk thuis, midden in de drukke stad. De kamers zijn ruim en mooi. Het restaurant is goed, met een redelijke prijsstelling. De eigenaar en de medewerkers zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is lekker en de ligging is prima. Mogelijk nadeel was dat de douche niet snel warm wilde worden, maar dat werd binnen een dag hersteld. Het dakterras is een prettige plek om je terug te trekken, uit de drukte van de (handels)stad. Ofwel een enorme aanrader, met een goede prijs!

Excellent location - Terrible Bathroom

Friendly people, good restaurant inside, excellent location. I stayed in the standard room. It was clean, but the bathroom seams to be very old, with dark walls and bad smell.

NO SLEEP

During the day, quiet as a mouse. After 9 PM tables moved, doors slammed, all hotel staff as there was no one else there! Like living in the lobby! Credit cards NOT accepted.
