This Dar far exceeded our expectations! The room was comfortable and clean, the owner and staff are friendly and gave great recommendations on restaurants and things to do and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would love to come back here and definitely recommend it!

Fabulous Riad with very welcoming hosts, who made
From the onset, Riad El Paco has been fantastic. I love the location, the room and the service. I cannot fault Lara and Giovanni - such wonderful hosts! They helped us have a glorious time. We were there for just 4 days, and would easily go back just to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The perfect place to discover Essaouiria
The owners and manager of the Riad helped me for my the entire stay. Their advices were excellent and they did everything to make my stay exceptional! no stress and a beautiful Riad with beautiful and original rooms. I felt at home going back to the Riad after each adventures.

Excellent rapport qualitè prix.
L' accueil a été très sympathique avec beaucoup de renseignements de la part des hôtes et beaucoup de gentillesse et de discrétion. Le riad est très bien placé et facile à trouver.

Buena relación calidad-precio.
Estuvimos en el hotel una noche, las instalaciones son correctas aunque la habitación no reflejaba la foto vista en la web. Lo más incómodo fue la puert del baño, no cerrada por completo que impedia tener intimidad dentro de el.

En perle i Essaouira!
Dar El Paco er en lille perle i Essaouira. Da vi kom ind i værelset Bleu Azur var alt virkelig...Blåt. Og eventyrligt. Madrassen var dejlig fast og lang nok til mig på 2 meter. Beliggenheden er ideel for udforskning af de små stræder i medinaen. Og værten Giovanni er en meget venlig og hjælpsom mand. Morgenmaden var god og rigelig, fantastisk velsmagende appelsinjuice!Vi kunne dog godt have brugt en omelet eller et æg for variationens skyld. Alt i alt fantastisk "value for money".Og så var byen Essaouira et dejlig afslappet ophold i forhold til Marrakech. Det var en ferie, jeg ikke ville hjem fra!Vi fortrød at vi ikke tog imod et tilbud om en massage af stedets massør Waffa.

Little gem hidden amongst the meandering alleys...
The owner Giovanni was very accommodating and had time for his guests. Waffah his assistant was ever so helpful and always wear a lovely smile. Albeit slightly tricky to find, it's situated at a great location (considering where some other Riads were)! Breakfast was lovely and the hotel had character! The deco was thoughtful and exudes a homely feeling. Loved it and have no hesitation to return again.

Riad coqueta en el Centro de Essaouira
Riad pequeña y coqueta en el centro de Essaouira, ideal para pocos días. Los dueños italianos muy amables, hablan español muy bien. La habitación no era grande pero tenía muchos detalles y era acogedora. El baño algo pequeño y estaban haciendo algún arreglo. El desayuno excelente y el trato muy bueno. Muy buen precio para una noche. Pago en euros o dirhams, el tema de pago con tarjeta no les compensa y prefieren no hacerlo.

sur notre sejour nous avons vu que la porte d'entrée , aussitot on nous a enmené dans un autre ryad qui devait etre equivalent la chambre que nous avons payé 29€ nous sommes allez virifier sur le site l'autre ryad affiche une chambre a 21€ donc nous avons deja perdu 8€, ce qui n'est pas castrophique mais pas normal ! Sur le ryad ou nous avons sejourné que dire ! A part que c'est notre pire souvenir du maroc, drap et serviettes tous dechiré, je n'ai meme pas voulu prendre de douche il y avait un filet gluant qui pendait au pommeau de douche et bien sur la litterie etait dur comme du bois donc nous avons passé une nuit quasiement blanche. Et je vais passer les details. Donc dar el paco n'est vraiment pas une adresse que je recommande si vous ne voulais pas avoir de surprise. C'est vraiment dommage parce que nous avons visités beaucoup de villes au Maroc et Essaouira reste notre coup de coeur heuresement nous avions reservé que pour une nuit donc on a pu passer notre deuxieme nuit dans un autre ryad ....

The hotel is in a great location. Some really nice food just outside the hotel. Shame about my room Blue Azur as it was at the top the stairs and had a lot of climbing to do. not ideal if you have children or OAPs

Fransk oase
Rigtig fint sted med en dejlig hyggelig indretning. Men hvis du ikke taler fransk, så er du virkelig på den. Parco, som ejer stedet, kan KUN tale fransk og forstå fransk. Derfor kunne man ikke få meget service på stedet, da han hverken forstod eller kunne tale er eneste ord på engelsk. Rigtig ærgeligt fordi stedet, værelserne og arkitekturen er pragtfuldt.

Riad encantador y muy bien situado
Nos alojamos una noche en la habitación del ultimo piso de este estupendo riad. Es pequeña pero muy bonita, cómoda y tranquila. Las instalaciones son nuevas y están decoradas con mucho gusto. El personal es excepcional: nos trataron de maravilla y nos indicaron los mejores sitios para visitar y comer. Una estancia estupenda!

Le meilleur accueil que j'ai reçu au Maroc!
Le personnel de cet établissement est d'une extrême gentillesse; on y est reçu dans la convivialité, comme chez de bons amis. Merci particulièrement à la gérante de l'établissement (la femme de "Paco", dont j'oublie malheureusement le nom) : c'est en grande partie grâce à ses attentions et à ses précieux conseils/recommandations que j'ai passé un séjour exceptionnel à Essaouira. La chambre était très propre, spacieuse et confortable, et la terrasse, très agréable. Un peu de bruit en soirée en raison des passants (chambre côté rue), mais rien de très dérangeant. Les escaliers, d'une bonne inclinaison, pourraient rendre les chambres de cet établissement difficiles d'accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Sinon, rien à redire! En somme, je recommande fortement le Dar El Paco et j'aimerais bien y séjourner à nouveau, inch' Allah!

Här satsar man på service, har du frågor så inte bara svarar man, här blev det till och med så att en av killarna på hotellet gick med för att visa för att vara säker på att jag hittade. Dessutom gav man tips på restauranger som var helt magiska. Här kan man tala om att känna sig som hemma, tog bara en liten stund sedan var man en i familjen. Frukosten var helt OK. Läget nästan idealiskt mitt i stan och ändå inte mer än 200 meter till strand och hamnen. Rummet vi fick var dock inte så bra. Trevligt dekorerat, men badrummet var INTE bra. handfatets avlopp var stopp vilket gjorde att det blev blött på golvet, missfärgat i duch från lång tid utan upprustning, mm. Sängarna var också av den sämre sorten - stenhårda och bäddade med något slags plastunderlägg. Inte godkänt. Tror dock att vi fick ett av de sämre rummen - vi pratade med några av de andra gästerna och det var ingen annan som hade våra problem med badrummet. Totalbetyget trots detta en 4:a pga den fina servicen.

Riad très propre et confortable. Très bien situé dans la médina. Néanmoins le haut parleur de la mosquée voisine était sous notre fenêtre (attention au réveil matinal du premier appel à la prière). Accueil très sympathique.

Very nice hotel,well located, clean and sunny rooms, the breakfast is yummy... the only bad thing was that we arrived at 10 pm and nobody was there waiting for us, I had to ask a neighbour to call them to come. I would come back for sure.

Rustic Charm!
I booked this hotel after reading good reviews about it, especially concerning the owners - but we did not get to meet them as far as I know. We received a very warm welcome and our room, although quite small and dark, was charming and cosy. There are two small roof terraces from which to admire the view over Essaouira. Yes, there is a mosque right next door and the first call to prayer of the day is at 5am, but breakfast is served up until 11 so you have plenty of time for a lie in. The breakfast of fresh pancakes was delicious. The hotel is right in the heart of the media which is great for exploring, and also close to the port. For eating and drinking I would recommend the Bab Laachour cafe/restaurant as it has superb views over the port, sea and the square from a lovely roof terrace, the food is cheap and simple and they serve alcohol.

Dar el Paco: muy buena recepción
Paco es muy amable, y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. Antes de nuestra llegada nos ha enviado un mapa del hotel, se ofreció a recogernos en la estación de bus que al final no fue necesario ya que íbamos en coche, junto con el mapa había una carta de bienvenida con detalles de nuestra estancia y de Essaouira. El Riad es pequeño y muy bien úbicado dentro de la Medina y cerca de la plaza principal y el mar.
