“It’s an old property. The room was clean, but the toilet was leaking. The two room bedroom is big enough The hotel rug needs to be clean. The personnel was very helpful It doesn’t offer breakfast, but they have coffee and muffins to go. Also has ice maker. It’s closed to the airport”

“Front desk staff was very helpful; the only issue I had was the pullout mattress was like a pancake. I felt the springs when sleeping; I asked for a new mattress and they weren’t able to replace it but did send extra bedding.”

“Excellent views, excellent food at Sea Salt, best coffee shop on the property, serves the best breakfast and souvenirs. Snorkel out to the buoy in the middle of the bay and have a good shot at seeing some turtles and eagle rays.”

“Well first of all, the property is beautiful but needs basic upkeep. Noone cleaned our room the entire stay. I saw trash that was there when I arrived and still there when I left 4 days later. The pool was dirty on arrival and dirty when I left. The service at the restaurant on the property was lacking. The front desk staff were awesome but the rest appeared to dislike tourists.”

“It's convenience and spectacular view of the harbor over looking Charlotte Amelia for our last night. The front desk lady on the mid-shift was so pleasant and knowledgeable to our questions. The restaurant's atmosphere was perfect for my wife and I as we lived in the VI for many years. To finish our stay, our taxy driver was like a private tour guide to the airport. What more do you want ?”

“Great place to stay. Was SUPER hard to find at first with Google maps. Perfect breakfast and very laid back. We had a gorgeous view and the AC worked perfect. Nice staff. THE best thing was that we were able to walk about everywhere. Perfect hotel if wanting to walk to the pop up shops/food/jewelry places”

“The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that.”

“Not much selection for restaurants which causes slow service as times. However very clean and tidy, many events held each day.”

“Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.”

“When I arrived the check in staff was fabulous!! Overall the property is clean and beautiful. Although, it was overall clean my bathroom floor could use a thorough cleaning. Not sure if it is the norm but the response for room service is terribly delayed. Once I reached someone on the line they did provide a quick turnaround for my request. The Westin Resort did not post any events during my stay but maybe I didn’t catch them at a good time. Overall, it was a good experience.”

“This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area.”
