"Incredible location and view. Outstanding staff, nice pool and pool deck. wonderful breakfast, huge variety, could sit inside or outside. Walkable in every direction. Bartender and front desk staff went above and beyond by offering kindness, concern and bags of ice for a foot injury each of the four days we were there. Relaxing balcony with ocean view. I would come back again! Cascais is a delightful town."

"Always like Holiday Inns as the breakfast sets us up for a good day! New carpet and although the room size was a bit tight for four of us, the bath made up for it! Out of Lisbon and only 30 minutes from Sintra = perfect. Would stay again"

"The Eurostars hotel is clean, comfortable, and good value for the price. Worth noting that there are no slippers provided, so bringing your own flip flops is a good idea. The shower was a bit inconsistent, one day far too hot, the next just warm, but overall manageable. Food is simple and basic, though with the town so close you’re only minutes away from plenty of great restaurants. The balcony was a nice touch and definitely made the room feel more spacious. The gym was clean and usually quiet, and while the pool is small, it does the job. The location is great if you enjoy walking along the coast. The one real downside was the laundry situation. I was told it would be ready the next day, but because it was a bank holiday the staff returned my dirty laundry to my room without letting me know. It then went missing because it had been placed in the wrong room, and when it was finally brought back, someone else’s laundry had been mixed in with mine. Not ideal, and it left a pretty poor impression. Overall, the stay had some positives, but the laundry issue means I’m unlikely to return. Update: Post this review, and in fairness, the hotel reached out with a sincere apology and genuinely regretted the inconvenience caused. That gesture does go a long way and means I would consider giving Hotel Eurostars another chance."

"Wide range of breakfast options. Pool is warmed, and small playground for kids. Rooms are fine but a bit dated. Blanket is heavy and not very breathable and one wheel was missing in our shower cabin door causing it to slant and not close properly. Staff was friendly and helpful"

"Excellent all round, not a fault, until I ate in the rooftop restaurant. Service was impeccable but did not enjoy the food at all. My only criticism though, so pretty good. On the subject of food, the breakfast buffet was excellent."

"We booked this hotel based on location and onsite parking availability. It was very walkable to everything in Cascais and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were great to deal with. We unfortunately didn’t have enough time to take advantage of the pool, but the baby ducks were certainly enjoying it!! 😂"

"We stayed for 9 nights. The first impression was as we expected of a 5 star luxury hotel. The conseirge/luggage carrying guy was fantastic - a really nice welcoming. Couldn't remember his name - it was the same first name as the general manager I think he'd said. The room was very comfortable, clean and really spacious with a massive bed. We had a view of the pool and the gardens. I like the old part of the building with all its character and private chapel. The new part is kind of bolted on which is novel but kind of works. The new part has maybe a corporate feel? I don't know, couldn't quite pick up on the vibe. Strangely it seemed pretty quiet in the hotel, not many guests? Perhaps in peak season theres a bit more atmosphere with people using the pool side bar. But having it quiet was quite nice, we felt we had the hotel to ourselves in a way. Location is good - areas are easily accessible by taxi or train - Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra etc. Breakfast room - a lot of attentive staff. Plenty of fresh and good quality breakfast options to keep you going. It would have been nice to have had an initial greeting and introduction - timings, what you can drinks you can ask for etc. You can order a 'pack up' if you're out and about and miss breakfast. I have a couple of negatives. We needed an information booklet in the room.. Is it that we're expected to find everything on our phones nowadays? Also..drinking water providers would have been handy - dotted around the hotel."
