This is an older property, but is still well maintained. It is conveniently located in the heart of Monroe. The room was comfortable and the fixtures provided were what we expected. Having a continental breakfast was a plus. This was a good value for our stay.

Room was ok. The bed was just a memory foam pad on a box spring that had lost most of it's memory. AC unit had most of the buttons mashed so bad you couldn't adjust anything. Walls are paper thin so you can easily hear neighbors. Shower was clean, towels were soft.

Rm 104...6 days earlier, had no carpet anywhere. Bed so-so. Room so-so. Rm 119...lovely. new carpeting...large handicap-access shower & toilet rail very quiet..at the back of building. I would request this particular room again

It was the last room available in the city. All we needed was a bed. I was going to complain about the road noise and the nearby train, but when the windows were closed it was quiet. If you just need a room for a night, this facility fits the bill. If you need a mediocre motel meal not worth eating, stay at an expensive motel. If you need just a bed, toilet, and shower, you could do worse. Front staff was very helpful.

Old motel. Rooms need to be painted and updated. Breakfast was nothing to talk about. Fruit ( bananas and an apple were over ripe.) We stayed for two nights and only in room while sleeping. . Parking and location is good though. My wife complained about musty smell. We won’t stay there again unless it is the only place with an available room as it was this time. On the positive side , it is the most economical place of the three places in Monroe.

The A/C in the room didn't work, & very hot. The bed was sunk in the center,& 2 people would end up in the center in a hole. Staff was nice, & the shower was good. Would not go back there again.

While the property was well maintained, it shows its' age. If you are looking for a clean, economical, and secure place to stay, especially near the fairgrounds, this is a good choice. There is no 2nd floor ADA access, in room coffee service needs to be requested, and there is no ice machine. (Ice is available for purchase in 10# bags from a vending machine.) There are many dining options nearby, including a very good family restaurant right next door.

Pictures were incorrect representation of the room we had booked but staff upgraded our room to the correct one after the first night. Rooms were not throughly cleaned (spills in the fridge, sticky surfaces) Staff was helpful in getting towels, toilet paper when needed. Their breakfast was lack luster and didn’t seem to be restocked if items were diminished after the first wave of people leaving little to nothing for those that didn’t come in the first 10-30min. Overall was a nice stay with small inconveniences but near stores and food joints if you needed or wanted something

The room was smelly and dirty. They didn't clean our rooms the entire time we were there, and we were there for 6 days. It was cheap, I suppose you get what u pay for. Definitely not three star.Staff was friendly tho. It was close to my family's house we were visiting. Probably go somewhere else next time.

Property has just been acquired by new management, so hopefully in the coming months it will get a much needed update. Front staff was kind and helpful. Room had a stale smoke smell. AC unit was old, but worked well enough for our needs. Mattresses were very uncomfortable & old. Top sheet has a small burn hole in it, but otherwise clean & comforters were old, semi ratty and faded. Continental breakfast was basic. Basically an old hotel that hasn't been updated since the 70s or 80s. Hopefully it will get better under ita new owners.

Only cheap place in the area, you pay for what you get. Overall the stay was decent, the bedding was clean and comfortable and the towels were nice. The bathroom was not clean, toilet ran constantly, the sink drained slower than slow. If you are a light sleep the train is very close, would not recommend. Otherwise, if you’re on a budget and not overly picky then it will work.
