Bridgewater Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
6/10 Okay
"Very old property and minimal amenities. Loud and sound proof walls are weak. Staff is ok. House keeping forgot to clean our room on cleaning day. Two great things: (1) great location, walking distance to restaurants. (2) Everyone knows or heard of hotel so when lost they can direct you. "
"Breakfast was fresh and pretty good, but they need to put more wafflemakers out. There were only 2 and the line was always long.
Love the cozy, rustic cottage. Carpets and the inside walls (logs) could use a deep cleaning, however. I forgot to pack slippers and had to gobto Walmart to buy some to wear indoors. One can clearly see the coated dust sitting in between the logs of the interior wall.
Daily cleaning isn't really cleaning. It's refilling toiletries, emptying trash bins, replacing towels and and toilet paper....which is fine if you're ok w/ that. We were. We didn't need our room to be cleaned daily, but some folks require or expect it, so I thought it needed mentioning.
The kitchenette was very convenient to have. Just wished it came with dishes, cutlery, pots n pans, and a hot plate.
Lastly, not once did we see the Northern Lights from our Aurora/lakeside cabin, which I thought was a tad bit false advertisement. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful display just minutes away at Creamer's Field our 2nd night in town.
Would we stay there again? Most definitely!"
"The room was half cleaned , sheets and towel only changed, I have doubts that they clean really. 3 box of pizzas which including pizzaz in it , from previous guests was there, previous guests keyes was on counter, after several follow up i was able to get a refund of 45 $ , i am waiting to get it, they told it takes 10 days. I paid 150$ for one night, we checked in at 3 AM and check out at 9AM. Breakfast was bad also, "
"Staff nice, helped with early arrival and late check out. Bed was quite old and too soft, almost rolled off the edge. Bedding clean but shredding on edges and didn’t fit the mattress."
"No breakfast.
Rooms were very run down. The windows didn't block any cold air. The floor heat was nice in places where it worked, but mostly it didn't work. Didn't matter what the thermostat was set at the temp of the room didn't change.
The run was pretty clean, just really old. Everything worked fine.
