  • I discovered this little battlefield park while on a walk with my boyfriend. Having only lived in the area for two weeks, I didn't know this was down the street. The park itself is small, quaint even, but the informational plaques were helpful, if but a bit sad. There are photographs of what the area looked like (along with maps) when the battle took place. Now you look around and only see developments. The pathway is decent and wheel chair accessible (if but a bit bumpy) and there's a small parking lot.

This was a great hotel for me staying a weekend for my sons track meet at George Mason. Convenient to get everywhere and walkable to restaurants and the mall. Loved that parking was easy and it was easily accessible to get to the University.

The stay was wonderful, the rooms were clean. The bathroom was decent sized. There were only 2 very small water bottles for 4 people. The biggest issue was that only one elevator was working which meant every time you want to use it, you have to wait for almost 10 mins which was quite annoying. Overall a very good property
