"Great hotel / pub in Inverary. We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Islay, and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and were great in dealing with my wife’s Coeliac Disease dietary needs (couple of the staff are Coeliacs but all staff were knowledgeable). We also had our Black Labrador with us and again he was welcomed and accommodated without issue. It’s rare to find places that cater for both Coeliacs and Dogs :-) Our room was large and well furnished, although maybe a little dated. The food and drink were excellent and all meals were really enjoyable experiences. The bar area has a great atmosphere, happily busy and with music some nights, whilst the conservatory area was great for breakfast. The new owners and staff are doing many things right and we had a great stay. Would highly recommend."
