This hotel with an extremely beautiful area with great access to the state parks. The ice cream shop was so cute and quaint and delicious as well. We’ll definitely be going back.

Nothing fancy, but clean and there is a lovely staff. The beds were comfortable and a lot of care has gone into keeping this older, roadside motel, in good condition.

Good place to stay

We booked several rooms for our family due to a funeral in the area. They were very accomodating and put our very large group (8 rooms) all together on one side of the building. Good location. Close to elephant rocks and johnson shutins.

On my trip I did a lot of hiking at some of the recomended trails near the hotel. They have excellent service and all of the employees were friendly. The room was clean and tidy. And the pool was a fantastic way to cool down yoyr muscles after hicking all day. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean,quiet, and friendly stay.

No breakfast as the restaurant nearby is now a catering business, I believe. Parking is convenient, right in front of your door. The room was clean though the chair in the room was busted from a previous tenant, though would prefer to not have a chair anyway since it takes up extra space. The linoleum was also loose in spots in the bathroom, had air pockets underneath but all in all was a comfortable stay. No mold, no bugs. Could not hear the neighbors on either side. Enjoyed the pool and check in and out was easy.

Old but nice hotel

The hotel itself and the room was very dated. But it was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. No breakfast. For a one night stay while on a long trip it was good.

Give it a better than average rating.

Room needed a few maintainance updates. Door hinges front (had to pull up on door to shut). Bath room door had to raise up on to latch. Vent fan in bath room was noisy. Every thing else was very nice and comfortable. Stay was good.

A hidden jem in the Ozarks

The staff was friendly; the pool was clean and refreshing! The rooms were clean and the surrounding activities were exceptional (great hiking, history, and water activities)!
