"Very cute, cosy and comfy cottage in the centre of beautiful Beer. Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and a great location in a beautiful and peaceful seaside village."

"Mixed review. The room was clean, even if a bit dated. The bathroom could have been better for the room rate. The mira shower was similar to the one I had at home more than 20 years ago. The pillows were firm and of poor quality for a room costing over £300 per night but the bed was comfy.
The longe area had a fabulous sea view and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The parking was easy.
The breakfast was a bit sparce for £40 but cooked very well.
We would stay again if on the area."

"Wonderful stay in this quaint thatched Inn.
Modernised rooms and wonderful ensuite with large bath and shower over, due to the property being burnt down early in the 2000s.
Traditional wooden beamed bar and restaurant with exceptionally conscientious staff.
Full English breakfast using locally sourced produce and a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two of us

"Sharon was a great host and even upgraded my room for me as it was going spare! Room was clean and a good size. And the B&B is part of their bakery so that's a winning combo in my eyes! "
"Total shambles with checkin. I arrived for the allotted checkin wi Dow of 3/4pm to find no one there. I had not received any online communication wrt combination for key box and subsequently had to try to talk to TravelNest who were apparently the booking agent even though I booked through Hotels.Com. I had tried to touch base with the host previously but never got any reply. Travelnest finally got an answer and a cheery host called me without any apology the inconvenience. I couldn’t stay in the property in the end as my father in law had a fall when we arrived and ended up being hospitalised for duration of our stay and so we had to look after his wife at their home. Anyway when I communicated this to the host with a possibility of us staying the last day he only then informed me that towels and linen were extra!Really? He made a paltry effort to alleviate my annoyance by saying he’d upgrade us and even throw in the towels/linen- too little too late from my perspective!! Anyway I checked and there was definitely no mention of “extra charge “ on Hotels.com. Travelnest washed their hands of the matter and said it was clear on “their” site that these items were NOT included, despite me continually stating I booked on Hotels.Com! So a very shabby and amateurish site. At least Hotels. Com apologised for the confusion and offered £25 credit- nothing from TravelNest of course! "
