It was dirty and importmant peaces of equipment were missed. โ
โA really cosy and lovely traditional old inn with mod cons and a great atmosphere in a beautiful location great for long walks in the countryside and by the sea. Helpful friendly staff, very comfortable, cosy rooms, parking and a very good restaurant. Recommended.โ

My only, minor, observation is the lack of usb/apple sockets. Easily corrected by replacing existing 3-pin with multi sockets, and so helpful in this increasingly device-dependent world.โ
โWe had a great time staying here, entertainment both nights, you will hear it in your room, but youโre staying in a pub so would expect to, was all quiet by 12. Room was lovely, good wi fi comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again โ
โFirst time booking and I am really looking forward to book again. The room is really comfortable and I was welcomed with a great cinnamon bun. Breakfast is great, with wonderful pastry. The atmosphere is friendly and the hosts are really lovely and make you feel at home immediately. I will book again for sure!โ
โOur room was perfect for our stay as we wanted twin bed room and had everything needed for our over night stay.
We did not stay for breakfast as we we had to travel on early next day but the tea we had in the garden was lovely.
The thatched guest house was in easy access for walks & visit to Sidmouth. Thank you โ
