“We stayed in the Dixie cottage. It was very nice and clean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tub was great. We had a nice continental breakfast every morning. If you like to walk it is in walking distance to downtown Saugatuck. We had a great time. ”

We didn’t use the pool due to the weather but it looked nice and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay and would come back here again!”

“Our stay was good clean and comfortable. We would probably come back and stay at Blue Star. The price was reasonable I think because you’ll responsible to throw out garbage and put all the linens in a bag before leaving, but I’m still waiting for my $100 security deposit. I would recommend to stay at Blue Star”

“Perfect hotel for me, my partner, and dog! Other hotels and airbnbs in the area were extra expensive and/or not pet-friendly due to LDW, and we didn’t want to spend $1,000+ for just a 3-night stay.
If you’re looking for a hotel that’s affordable, perfectly located, has a lot of outdoor activities, very dog friendly, and a midwest/vintage charm, Sun & Sand is a great choice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and well-kept. The bathroom was especially clean.
