Finger Lakes Region, New York hotel rooms at the Motel 6

"Room was very clean kitchen was was all stocked and set up well and lots of room for parking "

"Breakfast was old and stale, elevator not working properly, no housekeeping staff, front desk clerk reopened my reservation after they closed it due to no clean rooms, I appreciated that because I had no other options for a room, will never stay at that location again"

"I do not recommend this hotel. There was some kind of miscommunication, and our room was switched from two beds room to one without any notice, even though there were three of us. The hallways had a very strong air freshener smell that seemed to be covering up lingering smoke odors, which also reached the rooms and was overwhelming at times. The bathroom door wouldn’t fully close, and the hotel was extremely noisy both inside and outside the room. I could clearly hear footsteps from the room above me and I could barely sleep."

"Super cozy hotel not too far from Syracuse campus. Staff was lovely, but because of the hotels location, we could hear traffic and street noise all night long. Additionally the hotel is under construction which is good in the long run, but in the shott run challenging to navigate "

"I would of given this hotel a 5 star review but there was an ant problem in my room. I must of killed 8+ ants- on the wall, ON THE BEDBOARD and bedroom shower. When I called I was told someone would be right up. 30 minutes later I had to call again because I found another on in the bathroom I could not reached. I asked to move rooms but was told there was no more rooms available. I would of hoped someone would of called me in the morning or at least an email apologizing for my inconvenience, but all I got was a bill for the resort fee."

"As we got there we waited for more then 10 minutes before the young lady came to attend us. Now only did she not respond when we greeted her but her attitude made us feel that we were an inconvenience and she did not want to be bothered with anyone. I've stayed in this chain of hotels, and i've never had anyone treat us the way she did. But besides that everything else was great."

"Very loud. Rooms echo. People running down halls, talking loudly and a car in the lot kept honking and honking and honking. Place has on overall odor; not a good or bad odor, but the odor of like a family’s home. Not what a hotel should smell like though. "
