"We really enjoyed our stay at Heimly. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic! We enjoyed sitting on the porch admiring the scenery! The walk town was about 10 minutes. We learned on our last trip into town that you can walk along the boardwalk by the fjord instead of taking the road. With luggage, this is a much better option. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available if you arrive prior to room availability. Highly recommend."

"Although the staff was courteous and friendly, our overall experience at the lodge was poor. The accommodation is way over priced for what it really is, a hostel. Guests have to make their own bed. A meal is offered for dinner (also expensive), but there are no choices as you would have in a restaurant. The pool was not functional. "We stayed in the large house and it was very nice. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and kitchen. The shower pressure and warmth was a welcome sight. Also, each bedroom has its own sink. That was very handy. We used the kitchen it had everything we needed. Of course, the surrounding fjord scenery was spectacular. Staff was friendly and the restaurant food was good."
