“Given the lack of other accommodation available in Port Elliot, the rate is rather high for a Youth Hostel. Room was a bit stuffy and had to keep the window open and the fan going to get rid of the musty smell. Very small ensuite and shower.”

“I liked the view. Noise carries into unit from unit below, so didn't like that as it prevented me from sleeping & it was after 10.30pm.”

“I was made to feel very welcome, both checking in and checking out. My room had a delightful view. I was disappointed that I was unable to take advantage of the delightful spa bath! ”

“Great location, fab to sit outside and look at the sea. Everything was great .. however new bathroom down stair, is not very functional, has no shower screen and shower water goes everywhere including on the toilet. Owners had just renovated this bathroom, so there maybe some adjustments to be made.. apart from that very lovely:)”

“Staff & location were what we wanted but the room was not clean (absolutely filthy in the door tracks with dead things & someone else’s hair behind the bathroom door) diner was great with the food and service. ”
