โThis is a beautiful Manor House in equally beautiful grounds. It is a very comfortable and calm place to stay and the room was large with everything needed with a lovely view over the grounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was excellent with freshly cooked dishes as well as a buffet with cereal etc, as was the Sunday roast dinner. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt it was very good value for money. This is now our favourite hotel on the Wirral. โ
โLovely location, nice and quiet and good food / breakfast, all the staff were really friendly and couldnโt do enough for me! The hotel itself could do with an upgrade as it doesnโt do the location and staff justice! That said donโt let my comment put you off I will definitely stay here again when working in the area โ
โWe stayed at The Ship for a special wedding anniversary. Itโs an exceptional hotel in a wonderful area which has a unique atmosphere. The hotel food is good with a menu that changes over the seasons. The breakfast is very good and there is plenty of choice from pastries and cereals to full English. The rooms are well furnished and comfy and the tea, coffee and biscuits topped up daily.
For bird watchers the estuary is worth a visit and in the room we chose the hotel thoughtfully provided...
โGreat hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. โ
โIncredible stay, we wish we had booked two nights. Canโt fault it. Such a brilliant position being so central to everything.

โFabulous stay, beautiful building, excellent location next to lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. Nice walk along the canal into the centre of Chester. Breakfast was beautiful with lots to choose from and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.โ
