"This is a fabulous place. Staff are extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast is made to order for hot dishes and plenty of choices for continental foods. The facility is very clean. It is in a good location for local favorites. It is a decent distance from activities. I highly recommend this resort. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Beautiful property and nice spacious rooms. Stayed in a 2 bedroom and the space was great, but would have preferred the layout to be flipped to have the King in the main room and the 2 queens in the extra bedroom up front so the kids had their own space. Balcony was large and furniture was nice. Housekeeping and front desk staff were fantastic. Pools were nice. Water stations were a nice touch. Biggest issue with this resort was the food and drink situation. Breakfast at Marketplace consisted of reheated egg sandwiches. Far too expensive for what was received. Ended up going off property all other mornings after trying this the first morning. We loved the concept of beach bar area at night with the nice chairs to sit at and relax after dinner while the kids played with the sand toys. However, the service is incredibly slow. We waited 45 minutes for a server to even greet us and take our drink order one night. Pool bar had very average food for a large price. Once again, takes a very long time to receive your order. Tried the beach bar food one afternoon too and were extremely disappointed in the size and quality of the food for the price. Besides the food and drinks, the ambiance of the hotel is great. "

"We found this to be an excellent resort hotel with very helpful staff. The premises was clean, the continental breakfast included hot breakfast sandwiches and hard boiled eggs (good protein). The pool was very large and included a hot tub. The adjacent Skippers restaurant was easily accessed. Located on one of Key Largo's many sea channels, the resort boasts 77 boat slips and provides an interesting and enjoyable walk along the docks. Our only complaint is that bathtub shower needed a grab-bar - a necessity for older vacationers. Overall we rate this accommodation with five stars - a great value for the money."

"Melanie at reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She directed us to our room that was ready early and advised us of the amenities available to us. We were in accommodation over the road (very busy) which was less than ideal and disappointing but the accommodation was nice but without the lovely beachfront views. The lock on the front door was faulty which was fixed promptly and the fan in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling. We enjoyed our stay and the location was good."

"Absolutely loved it!! The beach / lounge area had a ton of space to spread out, snorkeling was amazing (watch out for anemones, and be careful snorkeling more than 10 or so meters off the dock as boats come by). The beds were so cozy and the staff was very nice. The hotel is next to or to Snooks, which has amazing food and drinks. Grab a cocktail in a plastic cup to have by the beach or pool! There is also a CVS/walgreens walking distance away. The hotel felt like an oasis away from everything though - you couldn't hear cars on the road and it truly felt like you were in a private little island. They seemed a bit under staffed. Our room didn't get cleaned, and they didn't have enough room keys for us to have more than one. This didn't bother us, and I am sure if we asked about a cleaning they would have done it, but we did notice this. We also had trouble finding pool towels, and brought our own from home. We truly didn't want to leave and would come back in a heartbeat!!"
