Despite arriving one and a half hours after checkin time the room was not ready and we had to wait a further half an hour in the hot sun before gaining access. The central garden space had a little shade but the plants do not look well maintained. The room once accessible was fine and reasonably quiet over night despite being located near the main road. Breakfast was adequate with room to sit down. Fort Bragg has several restaurants but the only place to eat locally in the evening within walking distance was a fast food outlet.

Breakfast is a joke! Cold cereal, apples, bananas, coffee. We elected to out for breakfast. The room was very clean, TV ok. Bed was comfortable. The card access locks failed two times during our one-night stay. No one informed us that the heat in the room was controlled with the access card. We stayed at the same motel many times in the 1970's. But not again
