We had a wonderful stay at Creag Mhor. The property and location is absolutely stunning. The views out of the bar and our room were of the loch and the mountains. Nothing like sitting in the bar having a dram and taking in the breathing view, or sitting by the fire enjoying a cheese board or a dessert. All of the staff were kind, attentive and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Everyone from the owner, to the young lady who served us meals to Angela our whiskey guide were fantastic hosts. The breakfast was excellent continental style with hot cook to order options. I had the full Scottish and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back to stay with them.

Creag Mhor Lodge has exceeded our expectations! Our room was spacious, clean and had an amazing view of the lake and hills. The staff were warm and welcoming and their common area was cozy and was an excellent place to have a pint and sit by the fire after a long day hiking the hills. Breakfast was delicious and filling, I recommend the - Full Scottish!

Nice old house that has been tastefully converted to a bed and breakfast on the water...best part of the stay was the supper in the lounge area that is casual and relaxed, and the food was great (curry chicken)! Service was like family...really comfortable feeling...!

Historical beauty
Friendly welcoming staff, gorgeous views. The Inn was beautifully restored. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and very roomy. We had a lovely home cooked dinnner and the bar was a delightful addition.

We can't recommend Creag Mhor Lodge enough. Great location overlooking the Loch, comfortable rooms, and lots of character. Had a wonderful dinner in a cozy setting with other visitors and Clare gave us a much needed lesson on the many varieties of Scotch whiskeys. On top of it all, I left my Kindle on a table in our room and they kindly shipped it to my hotel in Edinburgh to pick up on our last day. Thanks again!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the warm welcome at the desk when we arrived, to the cozy atmosphere in the bar. Having dining options at the bar so that we could just stay put and not have to head out to eat was brilliant. The food and drink was lovely! Our room was amazing, large, with a fantastic view out over the Loch. We would absolutely love to make a return to this area of Scotland and stay a few more nights with the lovely people at the lodge!

Claire and her team are amazing! I can’t speak highly enough about them. They were so thoughtful and very hospitable. The location of Creag Mhor Lodge is perfect and you have everything you could want at your fingertips. I can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay!
What a wonderful place to stay. If you are a scotch drinker, you will taste some great ones and learn more! Staff is amazing and for a B&B, you can actually get a light dinner!

The staff here were very nice, warm and friendly. The building was lovely. Lovely view from our room. Our room was nice but seemed damp, towels did not dry during the day and the mattress was a little firmer than I like. We found the rules to be a little restrictive, doors locked between 1 and 4 and after 10. Dinner was nice but the prices of the food and drinks was high. Breakfast was good!

Thank you for your review. You only needed to ask a member of staff for fresh towels and we would have been more than happy to provide these for you. Guests are welcome back to the Lodge at anytime of the day. You only needed to give us a call and we will open the door for you. We do explain this at check-in, it is a fire safety regulation that we know who is in the building any any one time. Hope you had a lovely time during the rest of your stay in Scotland

Le personnel est adorable, le bar le soir est cosy. C est un hotel familial, mais qui donne sur l A82 et qui est bruyant. Il faut systematiquement prnedre la voiture pour diner.

Not worth the price charged
The experience and service offering did not offer value for the price charged. This is an old building and is well kept but it needs modernising. Bathroom had no shower and we had to step into a very high bath to shower, there is whole safety issue here and no handles on the wall to help climb in and out. The hot water in the shower was scalding and we could never regulate the temperature or water pressure. For the price we have expected a bottle of drinking water in the room but this was not offered. Breakfast was at best, mediocre and disappointing. We had to decide the night before what we wanted, the choice of hot food was poor and there was no facilitating any request for simple change, I requested poached egg and told its only what's on the menu, so it's scrambled egg or nothing. Clearly the breakfast is made sometime before you sit at the table, as I had only sat down to eat my cereal and out came the hot food, you feel rushed. The bar has a great selection of whiskeys and the staff do walk you through the different brands. Evening menu is very limited and kitchen closes at 8pm. Staff where very polite and friendly and the view from our bedroom was magnificent. Overall I came away disappointed as I had higher expectations based on the ratings and price charged. I would stay again if they improved the level of service or reduced the price. It's not good value for money as we stayed in other hotels on our holiday which were substantially cheaper with quality service.

Our stay at Creag Mhor Lodge was exceptional for numerous reasons. Firstly, the breathtaking view is unparalleled in the Glencoe region. This lodge has truly secured the most stunning vista. We were fortunate to witness a rainbow from our room on both days of our two-day stay. The food deserves a special mention, catering to both exhausted travelers seeking comforting home-cooked meals and adventurous newcomers craving delicious cuisine. Lastly, the impressive bar boasts an extensive whiskey selection. One should not miss the opportunity to stay at Creag Mhor Lodge when visiting Glencoe.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It looks recently renovated with beautiful new decor and interiors. Our room and view were outstanding. The women who run the hotel are so friendly and have a great knowledge about scotch. It was very fun going to their well stocked scotch bar each night. Highly recommend!

Felt like Family
Absolutely amazing place to stay! This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and it made a lasting impression. Clare, and all the staff at the Creag Mhor Lodge, made us feel like family. Upon arrival, Clare recommended places for dinner and then even called the restaurant to make a reservation for us. We spent the evenings in the bar area of the lodge, it was a perfect place to finish out the night. The views are stunning and the location is perfect. Our rooms was spacious and very clean. My husband and I compared the Creag Mhor Lodge to every other place we stayed and wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended!
