We love the tapestry collection, it’s always so clean and modern. Room was beautiful, super clean, and sleek. The only downside is that you have to request the room to be serviced so if you forget, the trash stays full and bed is unmade. We will definitely be back!

We had four staff members total that we communicated with. Two were great; the other two acted as if they could care less to be helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location; however, the room itself lacked a few functions like hooks, enough towels - items I’d consider basic.

Hotel was beautiful, updated, and clean. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and always remembered exactly who we were. Comfortable bed, beautiful room. Salt water pool was a plus. The hotel is in a good, quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious and clean. There is valet parking available if you can not find a spot on the street to park. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel if you choose not to eat at the hotel’s restaurant. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

This hotel is on the Riverwalk with their own entrance next to heart island. It is a two to three minute walk to the tourist trap restaurants for those who want Mexican food while sitting on the edge of the Riverwalk. The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are all suites with two rooms, a sitting room and a bedroom with a door. Our room was 500 square feet, quite large for a hotel these days. The hotel has an atrium that spans the height of the hotel. At the bottom is a very large bar with an attached restaurant. We discovered that the bar food menu was delicious! The goat cheese with honey and pitas were outstanding! If you are traveling to San Antonio for the first time, if you can, find a Mexican restaurant off the Riverwalk. The restaurants on the Riverwalk are really for tourists who don’t know any better. For Mexican pastries, go to La Panadería and bakery, it usually has a line in the morning but you won’t be disappointed. It is a 5 minute walk from this hotel at street level. If you take the Riverwalk to get there it will take longer, the river is not a straight line. Also, go try the other hotel restaurants on the Riverwalk, this will give you more varieties and experiences. Oh ya, the Alamo is also a minute walk at street level. Have fun and enjoy the TexMex!!!

The staff especially Marcus was very friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived and continued to check on us during our stay. We ate at the Duchess twice and it was very good. The location is great and is within walking distance to coffee shops and restaraunts.
