"Perfect location right on Lake Michigan and the mouth of the Pere Marquette River. Every morning and evening the SS Badger car ferry leaves to Manitowoc, WI. Staff are always available, attendant, and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, with a nice patio outside my room with two Adarondeck chairs. Coffee every morning in the lobby. Hot tub was just like it spells! Walking distance to all of downtown and throughout neighborhoods! Did I say it was great 👍"

"Everything was basically fine. It was a nice spacious room for my family. However, a few small things that kept it from being five stars: 1. The shower did not drain well at all. 2. No one cleaned out the coffee maker so i had to do it from whoever stayed there before us. 3. When towels were restocked, coffee wasn’t (which ties into the next item)… 4. It is after Memorial Day, so all the signs and info said the lobby would open at 8AM, but both mornings that was not true. There was coffee available in the lobby once it opened, however. 5. There were only two clean towels stocked in the entire pool area Saturday mid-morning. We were the only ones at the pool, which was very nice, but the lack of amenities was surprising. 6. Couldn’t find any extra blankets in the room and the ones on the bed were very thin. Our favorite thing about this place was the location! So convenient. It was also quiet and overall clean and well cared for besides issues I mentioned."

"Room was fairly clean for cheap price, staff was nice. Smaller parking lot but seemed enough parking. Had A/C, mini fridge, tv and microwave, and tiny coffee maker. Queen bed seemed more like a double bed size. Tiny room seemed like 8x10, but bathroom did have shower with tub. Mini open closet space, but not really any room to put luggage except in the walkway are along sides of bed."

"Convenient to the Lake Michigan Car ferry. We missed breakfast as we were leaving early to catch the ferry, but a continental breakfast was provided - boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt and an assortment of cold cereal and oatmeal as well as coffee and tea. Our room was comfortable enough with a small private bath. Off street parking was provided. If you like to sleep in dark rooms bring your eye mask. Street lights keep the room rather bright all night. Overall a good option."
