"The rooms were smelling of cigarettes, They dont have payments system that works and always ask for a cash payment and if you get back late,blame you for it.I was told my bags were taken out of my room and kicked out, even though i had explained that i will be coming back and i was still attending my meetings. This is the text they sent me "Okay, we canceled your reservation for tonight and sold the room. I hope you find decent accommodation that will tolerate your nonsense." I advised them i will be putting this on their review and said ok. They have no care whatsoever for customer service. Please share this and avoid this place to avoid disappointment. If you do go there, all the best and share your experience. "

"My recent stay at The Pivot Hotel was an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. We have always loved the vibrant energy of the Montecasino complex. Located in the heart of Fourways, it serves as a serene Mediterranean-inspired escape from the Johannesburg bustle. The Venetian-style architecture and the tranquil lake views create a unique "resort" feel. It’s a relief to step out of the high-energy casino environment and into the calm, sophisticated lobby of The Pivot.As always my room was spacious and spotless. The bedding was high-quality, and I particularly appreciated the welcome gift that had been left in the room for us. The staff were attentive from check-in to departure. Being just a short walk across the bridge to Montecasino is a huge plus. It provides easy access to world-class dining, theaters, and entertainment without the noise of the casino floor reaching your room. Breakfast at Punchinello’s was a standout. The variety of the buffet was impressive, and the terrace seating is the best way to start a morning in South Africa. We unfortunately only had the one night and had to move to our next destination. For those looking for a great hotel , the Pivot offers a level of quiet luxury that is hard to beat in the area. I would definitely return."

"The security of the apartments is so good. Cameras galore. The property itself is clean, minimalistic and has all the things you will need. Bed was a dream to sleep in, even my kid didn't wake up throughout the night. Only issues would be that the staff should run the water from the taps every now and again, the bath water came out dirty, and they should double check the milk frothier, it stank of old milk but a good wash and it was good again and have them descale and air out the dishwasher, stank of mildew. Not sure how they can check the flooring, it was really slippery, with shoes, socks or barefoot, we were just slidding all over, so tread carefully. All in all it was a great place and will definitely book again should we return. "

"Check-in as very fast and efficient. Room was of a very high standard. The only issue being it was very easy to hear movement in the next room. Beautiful looking hotel with a nice bar and outdoor areas to relax in. A very short ride to Montecasino. Breakfast was very good. "
