"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY"

"Very early days for this establishment. Very friendly and pleasant staff, who really try to please. Great curry on our first night, however very limited choice for our non-curry lover, so had to find alternative dining options. We found that the Windmill was lovely, and only a couple of miles down the road! Somewhere to hang your clothes in the rooms would be useful. Great, large, hot shower. Breakfast each morning set us up for the day. It will be a lovely place once the teething problems have been resolved. Would revisit."
