Small room but clean with on site parking. Location made me nervous but I didn't go out at night. All good

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We liked the hotel, it was very clean and staff were very friendly and professional, but we found getting to the hotel a bit difficult due to the neighbourhood where the hotel was located. The entrance for the hotel was difficult to find without crossing the street to look back, and then when we did find it, the entrance was a bit sketchy. We did appreciate how it was gated, which made it feel safer.

Avoid hotel
Do not recommend hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, but area around is absolutely terrible and inside the hotel rooms being used for various activities!
AVOID
The price was right for an urgent 1-night stay. VERY friendly and helpful gent at the front desk for check-in. I neglected to select 'air conditioning' as an amenity for my search for lodgings. I won't make that error again.
There is an out-of-order buzzer to get on to the property, and my calls to the number shown for building access would not go through (fault of my phone, not the property-but others may have the same issue)
The optional parking can be a challenge getting in and out of the spaces, especially since so many people seem to be unable to keep their vehicles within the lines – or worse yet, have vehicles that are just plain too big to be there in the first place.
The room is clean but the surrounding area are near strip clubs and what not that can be noisy. But great inexpensive place to stay if you want to be away from the hostel.
Disgusting area, full of dirty, litter, druggies and prostitutes. The staff had average customer service skills, but the building is dirty, full of needles and blood, and the morning after the streets are trashy and so unsafe. Luckily its close to the town centre and historic square by walk but don't travel on your own. Defintely will be checking on google maps more thoroughly next time whne booking hotels.

You get what you pay for, lice and ticks
You get what you pay for, 60€ and it was absolutely horrible, bugs on the bed, smoke and condition of the place is very run down. It's insane how these places exist like this. The area has some nicer places for €40-50 more!
I was put to Hotel Crown and it was terrible, dirty. The whole area is full of junks.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
All the night you can't sleep as may people shouting, as whole area covered with drugiest and drunked people,
price is cheaper but not feeling safe and peaceful place.
Budget friendly hotel. But I would not recommend. Sketchy neighborhood, next to a strip club. Loud all day. There were people yelling inside the building, woke me up at 3am. Uber driver warned me to stay away from area.
I give it two stars, because I didnt get bed bugs and despite all the junkies right outside the hotel, I did not see any in the hotel itself. The receptionist was nice too
Bed was broken, weird stains on the carpet. No A/C. Junkies sleeping in front of the hotel. Felt very unsafe in the neighborhood.
Were switched to a different hotel but both in the red light district, worse than I've seen anywhere. Rooms stank of smoke despite booking a smoke free property. Uncomfortable beds. No redeeming features
On January 3rd and 4th, 2025, I noticed that my account was charged twice at the property in Frankfurt. As of now, I have not received any compensation for this issue.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We stayed there for one night only, it was convenient that hotel is in 5 walking distance to railway station, BUT it’s located in a terrible area - red light quarter, all drug addict and drunk people, also homeless were walking/ lying on the streets. The Reception man I assume has consumed Cannabis, at the reception was Cannabis smell, he was a bit strange. The rooms are tiny, which is not a problem, cleanliness was ok, but I’m the night we had in our room smell of cannabis again, needed to close windows. I would have rather stayed in hostel for that price
The worst I've ever been treated in a hotel, and the dirtiest... Don't come, it's not even worth it for free, you'll probably be better off any other place. The walls are scattered with brown streaks, holes, dirt and mold... They don't care to take out trash, get new lamp shades and worst of all is the fresh smell of 100 packs of smokes that was smoked before you
Dirty disgusting. Place not cleaned, stairs and corridor filthy. Room not cleaned. Outside hotel was all sex shops and brothels. Along with drunks, drug addicts and homeless. Didn't stay as unsafe and not sure what infection and diseases we would have caught if stayed the night. More than happy to lose our money. At least I will live another day. Which would have been debatable if we had stayed at this place. Avoid at all costs.
The hotel was absolutely horrific. Located in the red light district with streets full of drug addicts and homeless people. I literally felt my life was in danger every time I walked in. The hotel services were poor. Receptionist making unsolicited remarks, knocking way before check out time to tell us to leave. Room itself was dirty, with broken lamps, bathroom doors not closing properly and dirty shower room. I think the worst and frankly most unsettling was the nights. People shouting, screaming, knocking on the doors, chucking things around. It was an actual nightmare. I felt so unsafe in my room I was considering calling 112 ( German equivalent of 911) several times. I was happy to leave the place and would not recommend it to anyone.
