For three days and three nights, I called the Wolfschlucht hotel in Rodgau, Germany, home away from home. They offered me their impeccable hospitality and let me enjoy visiting their beautiful gardens and seeing gorgeous flowers. Located in a wooded area, Wolfschlucht is a quiet oasis to rest and enjoy nature. I will certainly stay there again when I visit Rodgau.

Einfaches Hotel mit ordentlich Luft nach oben
Erstmal vorneweg, dass Hotel war sauber. Das Zimmer was ich hatte benötigt dringend eine Renovierung. Das fängt bei den Matratzen an und geht beim Schreibtisch und Nachttisch weiter die echt über aussehen. Die Nachttischlampe ist der Lampenschirm defekt und im Bad hing eine Steckdose aus der Wand. OK, das Zimmer war günstig, aber auch für das wenige Geld kann man ein ordentliches Zimmer erwarten.

We have felt very comfortable here. The staff was very accommodating in every area of this hotel. We especially liked the food. I had a room with a large balcony, bathroom and unexpectedly large TV! Great view from the balcony!

Bei unserer Anreise mussten wir zum Hintereingang, wo wir zwar geläutet haben, aber keiner reagierte. Als wir in das Restaurant gingen, bekamen wir nur den Zimmerschlüssel in die Hand und man sagte uns nur das das Zimmer 120 Euro die Nacht kostet. Das wir reserviert hatten für € 102 die Nacht wußte keiner. Das Zimmer war nur für 1 Person hergerichtet - also wozu wir vorgebucht hatten ....? Nach ein paar Minuten kam ein Kellner zu uns herauf und wollte uns gleich am Gang das zweite Bettzeug in die Handdrücken (was ist das für ein Service???) Nachdem wir es ihm nicht abgenommen hatten, legte er es einfach auf das Bett und ging.
Das Zimmer war zwar groß, aber das Bett sah aus als würde es jeden Moment auseinander fallen. Im Badezimmer waren die Fugen teilweise schwarz vor Schimmel und zum ablegen im Bad war nichts vorhanden ausser einer kleinen Fläche unter dem Spiegel. Von Freitag auf Samstag war eine Feier mit lauter Musik, die bis um 1 Uhr spielte - an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Die Wände der Zimmer sind sehr dünn, die Fenster halten den Lärm nicht ab. Unsere Abreise war Sonntags, also entschieden wir uns vorsorglich bereits am Samstag Abend zu bezahlen, was gut war, denn der Kellner sagte uns "gut das sie schon Heute kommen, denn morgen ist keiner da" - was bitte soll das?! Wo hätten wir am Sonntag bezahlt?! Beim Reinigungspersonal? Wo hätten wir eine Rechnung herbekommen?
Fazit: für diesen Preis war das Zimmer eine Frechheit - wir kommen sicher nicht wieder.
