โ1940โs estate is maintained to remind you of those times. There was a โSpeak-EZโ in the basement they had open Friday and Saturday evenings. My room was spacious and included a balcony. Huge front lawn with a pool and a view to the Bay. โ
โThis is a very nice hotel. It is small, quiet and relaxing. The grounds are well kept with Adirondack chairs and other comfortable chairs around the property. Almost all of the rooms have a water view as the hotel sits on a channel leading to the bay. You can watch the boats go by and see the Osprey guarding a nest and diving for food.

I was impressed with the location, the detail to cleanliness, and the commitment to the environment. โWonderful historic hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to Naval Academy and waterfront shops and dining (5-minute walk, tops). Also close to Maryland State House (across the street) and several other historical sites.
