“Front desk was amazing and the rooms were clean ”

“Beautiful historical hotel with nicely appointed rooms and comfortable linens. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room which I neglected to notice when I made the reservation. The room had a balcony and it was lovely to sit outside above the hustle and bustle on the street and enjoy a glass on wine before dinner! It was quiet inside the room; I never heard other guests or traffic outside. The only drawback was that there were no handrails or towel bars in the bathroom. ”

“I stayed at this hotel before but it was many years ago. Not much has changed. It’s conveniently located to most things that you would want to do or see in Richmond. The only complaint that I had during this particular stay was that someone left their dog in the room unattended and it barked all evening during our first night. Apparently there were others that stayed in the same floor with the same complaint. The dog was obviously in distress and I’m certain that it probably clawed and damaged...

“Great area for food and drinks”

“Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast had alot of good options, including chicken patties. They even had a crib (Pack n Play) for my baby. Only issue was the moldy smell when you walk into the room”

“The front lobby staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nat was going specially welcoming up on my arrival. The breakfast was always hot fresh and variety every morning. I hav a Golden Retriever and I love that the hotel is pet friendly and my therapy dog is relaxed and felt comfortable also. I will stay there again when I make a trip back to Richmond to visit ”

“I was in town for graduation and the maid cleaned everyday except for the last day which was strange. The hotel was grossly understaffed and room service took forever. The room service menu options were very limited. ”

“If I stated everything I loved about the property I’d be here forever, only negatives I have are the toilet in my room was leaking when I got there, which was fixed asap but then it would continuously try to fill the tank with water and I’d have to manually drop the lid after each use. 2 I never got a WiFi password and the cable signal was poor, with and without the storm. Minor inconveniences, excellent service of I go anywhere else with a graduate in town I will be staying there ”

“Super fun hotel with a cool bar and hang out area that features modern art, pool table, free drinks with check in, convenient down town location and polite and energetic staff”

“No coffee shop (closed). Long walk to find a coffee shop. Room was too warm. Problems with my bill-visited front desk twice this morning and still no one has contacted me,”

“Very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I had questions. Appreciated the comfortable bed! ”

“The room was good, clean, and even had little dove bottles of soap and shampoo. Front desk person was very friendly and got us checked in quick. Only complaint was the entire hotel smelled like weed which seems to be a trend in this area. I’ve traveled here a few times and all the hotels smell this way which is awful. Additionally we had to listen to stomping all night long from the floor above us. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t too bad. ”
