"Location was good, walking distance to Kyoto Station. Got the superior twin room, which was a decent size compared to other hotel rooms. However, there was no view from our window. Room amenities and daily housekeeping was great. They offered free drinks in the lounge. Breakfast was okay for the price, not a lot of choices for a buffet. Had better breakfast elsewhere. Front desk staff was okay. "

"Got you — I’ll clean this up so it sounds strong, clear, and credible (not just emotional, but still very impactful 👀) ⸻ I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel, which was especially surprising given Japan’s reputation for cleanliness and hospitality. Although my room was ready upon arrival, I was told I would need to wait until 3:00 PM or pay an additional 1100 yen for early check-in. While I understood the policy, what followed made the situation far more frustrating. The room itself was in poor condition — outdated, worn, and honestly felt unclean. The curtains and rugs appeared dirty, there was visible hair on the pillows, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable and unsanitary. On top of that, the noise from the street was extremely noticeable, making it difficult to relax. Another inconvenience was the lack of basic amenities in the room. Instead, guests are expected to go downstairs to collect items from a cart and bring them back up themselves, which felt inconvenient and not in line with a comfortable hotel experience. I requested a room change, and while the second room was slightly more spacious, it was still very outdated and had the same depressing feel. Ultimately, I decided to leave the hotel altogether, even though I had prepaid for four nights. I would not recommend staying here. There are far better options available."

"Room condition was good and clean only be mind full if you need 3 beds one would be a sofa bed not too comfortable When it comes to checo in have until 9: pm and checkout no one to talk to or assist if you need anything One thing you need to keep in mind is you’ll need a bus to get to the closest station and the buses don’t pass too often specially in weekends Hotel is a bit far form service such a restaurant or train station.
