"The room was amazingly spacious with all amenities provided. There was also a private washing machine. The staff treated our belongings with care and were very friendly. The hotel was also close to many restaurants and eats, and a 20min walk to Myeongdong shopping street (also very accessible to public transport). Highly recommend and would come back again!"

"Everything was good. Clean, good amenities. I like that they have laundry facilities with good washer and dryer. The concierge on the ground level was very helpful ( he is wearing glasses). He helped us in navigating our way in Myeondong. "

"Staff was very friendly, room was very clean and had a great view of the city and mountains. Bed was so comfortable and cozy. The heated floors were a great addition too for the winter nights. Great location about 4-5 minute walk to several trains stops! Would highly recommend staying here. "

"The Novotel is splendid choice in the Dongdaemun area depending on what you are looking for and how much you are interested in spending. We booked a Premier Room in the Residence wing of the complex and were very pleased. There was a full kitchenette, a separate dining area, and a spacious seating area. The bedroom itself was enormous, as was the bath which featured an oversized shower stall and one of the largest bathtubs I have ever seen in all my years of travel. The room was fantastic. We also enjoyed swimming laps in the indoor pool on the 20th floor and soaking in the hot tub up there after swimming. The indoor pool complex is very nice. The only area for potential improvement I might identify is breakfast, which was somewhat above average but lacked any sort of flair. If they had some type of fresh fruit smoothie station, or a made to order breakfast wrap station or something like that, it might have given breakfast a "wow" factor. The most disappointing part about breakfast is that we were looking forward to trying some of the loose leaf local Korean hot tea, but there wasn't any to be had. All of the tea was in tea bags, which is absolutely no fun at all. The only other thing to be aware of is that the front of the hotel faces the emergency room entrance to a medical center, so if blaring ambulance sirens aren't your thing, you may want to think about something elsewhere. Otherwise, this is an excellent property and we would stay here again. Recommended."

"The greeter young male staff was super helpful, help us to call taxi to the airport on 01/29. I didn't get his name though. Very pleasant stay. Will definatly come back. Resonable price and good location not too crowded."

"Amazing hotel that is very well situated for the many great sights and sounds of Seoul! Amazing customer service, room delivery, breakfast, and room cleaning. 1. Love the 2 free water bottles stocked in the room everyday. 2. The breakfast is totally worth it. Love all of the options. 3. Several bus stops, ATMs, and convenience stores right near the hotel. 4. Subway line is directly in front of the hotel. Amazing! 5. Myeongdong and Deoksugung Palace are nearby. Great pricing as well. Would come back here. 10/10!"
