Beautiful, quiet location in Gatlinburg. Friendly staff at check-in. Some wear and tear in the bathroom, but the patio chairs overlooking the stream running behind the hotel made more than up for that. Very memorable stay. Great Jamaican restaurant across the street with fresh bbq jerk chicken. Easy $5 parking right outside the front door. Parking at a hotel/motel in Gatlinburg is hard to come by. Local bus runs right outside the front door to the main strip downtown or you can take a short walk down.

This was our 2nd visit to Brookside Lodge, and we're already planning our 3rd. Hotel is older, but very well maintained and charming. Love the balcony and sitting and listening to water. Be on the look out for bears as we saw at least one every day. Hotel has a quiet location, on the trolley line, and very easy access if you want to go into Pidgeon Forge. Breakfast is average but large clean cozy rooms more than makeup for it. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Won't stay anywhere else.

the rooms where very clean and Leann in the front office was extremely helpful with a Wi-Fi issue we were having in our room, we can't thank her enough the staff in the dining room and the maintenance crew were very polite and accommodating the view of the brook was very relaxing the one downfall was the pool was not heated and too cold to use but the waterfall in the pool was beautiful.

Property itself is beautiful. Surrounded by nature, including a beautiful creek and outside places to eat, its idyllic. Property could use some upgrading including elevator repair. It wasn't working and we were on the 4th floor. Room was great, very cozy with a fireplace and private balcony. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The staff were great and the grounds were clean. The room was fine-loved the patio overlooking the creek. Loved seeing the bears when we were there. Stayed in the 4th floor and unfortunately the elevator was broken! That was a little rough to tote our bags and supplies for the week up those stairs! Hopefully they will fix it soon!
