Love The Appy. The staff is helpful, property and the rooms are always clean. Easy parking and close to downtown Gatlinburg. It is very convenient that the trolley stop is right by the hotel. I definitely recommend.

Die Unterkunft selber war in Ordnung. Typisch amerikanisch, nicht zu viel erwarten. Sehr viel Verkehr und sehr laut im Ort und an der Hauptstraße.

It’s a family friendly hotel. Good location. Mini golf next door is fun. The pools are nice. The room was clean but the shower had a lot of mold. Overall pretty good spot to stay. Breakfast had a few options but basic. The coffee was a 2 out of 5 at best.

This was our first stay at The Appy Lodge and it will not be the last! The lodge is so cute and quaint. The large spacious room has a rustic charm as if you were staying in a cabin but with awesome features. The fireplace was a bonus that adds charm. I love the walk in stone feature shower! Hotel amenities include free breakfast and snacks in the evening, rustic charm of the lobby,outdoor fire pit surrounded by comfy rocking chairs. Also there is an awesome pool with a tall swirling slide that was so fun. The staff was very nice and helpful in explaining the trolley with convenient pickup and drop off at the lodge. This saved us from paying $20 parking fees at parking garage in town. My husband and I loved our stay!!

Place was so welcoming and inviting with a very cozy living room/front desk area. Fun Appalachian/Black Bear (“Appy”) theme all throughout hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful—even got an earring for me that had fallen down the drain. Adirondack chairs out front to enjoy view from. Swimming pool looked super fun with an swirly tube slide and fountain in the middle. Continental Breakfast included but there was also a Flapjacks restaurant next door. Also great about this place is that it’s near to all the crazy fun but also slightly off the beaten track, and, therefore, calmer, more peaceful. Also had a Davy Crockett Mini golf course practically on the property but tucked to the side —not noisy. Rooms well appointed and beds cozy and comfy. Highly recommend for singles, couples or families.

This was a great hotel, close to everything but not so close you still feel secluded. Nice trolley picks you up at hotel to take you downtown, for free! This saves so much as it costs for parking downtown. We used the hot tub every night after our long days out exploring. Limited breakfast options but there is a great restaurant just next door.

Everything was wonderful. Very quiet. Organized. Family friendly. Walking distance to the main strip of Gatlinburg. Parking lot was very accessible, well lit, and felt safe. A beautiful place to stay. The only suggestion I have is maybe put something on the shower floor. It gets very slippery when showering especially when shampooing your hair.

After booking I called and talked with George and explained about mine and my husband health issues and told him what I needed and he was so supportive and not only met our health issues but was very happy to assist and was most pleasant doing so. Most would have been not as friendly. I had to remain on the line for a couple minutes before telling him what I was needing. He was that helpful and assisting to each person he help to check in and the needs as well. I wasn’t able to meet him personally on our stay but each person we did we met Will a smile and was willing to help.
