We were first assigned a room on the receptionist floor with the window facing the street, noisy and unsafe. So we requested for a room change and got an upgraded room. We appreciate our request got approved!

Pretty good hotel in a very good location near the train station and the main harbour of Geneva. The hotel and rooms are eclectic and small. The air conditioner was poor, like most we’ve come across in European hotels and the shower enclosure had a large gap through which water sprayed copiously onto the floor. A very good hotel in many ways, just a couple of niggling problems.

Very basic place

The room wasn’t cleaned properly, towels had stains, food crumbs on the chair, hair in the bathroom, stains on the curtains. I don’t think our room was cleaned actually. Beds were ok but the rest terrible cleaning standards. Also don’t give connecting room out there is no privacy and you can hear everything. Breakfast ok but the service poor. Would not come back. Very basic IBIS standards

Sink was blocked, reported it and no action was taken. Unblocked it myself in the evening with the receptionsist and found needle and syringe with many months worth of hair the cause. Very dangerous but showed the lack of cleaning undertaken in this hotel.
