Perfect location for hiking the south end of the Bruce Trail. We enjoyed having the full kitchen and found it an all round comfy place to be. Some additional tea towels and maybe face cloths would be helpful. We would stay here again for sure

We stayed in the Dreamers Studio, the kitchen could do with a good cleaning, and if you were planning on making a meal you would have to bring your own pots and pans as there was only one worn out frying pan and one pot. On the good side the outdoor property was beautiful, and well maintained.

I was only there for approximately 10 hours as I just needed a place to rest my head and get freshened up before another day of travel but this place was 10/10. I arrived late, however I had zero problem finding my cabin or the shared restroom. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe. Sad I didn’t see any animals but I arrived late and left early in the morning - my fault! I’d definitely go back here, I’ve been recommending this place to a lot of people already.

In regard to our recent stay, I first want to say it's a lovely idea that Kat and her family have come up with. Like the other reviewer who left a negative review this is a difficult review to do because she has posted in the bathroom that it's a small family run business and that negative reviews hurt and could we please not do that but, in all fairness, to other travelers who are looking for accommodation let me just point out some of the realities of staying here. We stayed in Brand tent and the tent itself interior was just as pictured we had a problem with the housekeeping and the maintenance of the site. The pictures on the website are not recent pictures and things have fallen into disrepair since then. If they just improved some of the housekeeping things it would be a lovely place . We did not like were the bathroom wasn't clean it had grass cuttings on it for as long as we were there there's an animal trap cage outside the bathroom which could have been put anyplace else, the morning we were there was one towel and one face cloth even though there were at least three units being used. The outdoor kitchen has a vending machine in it that had two items in it and the Keurig machine had hair and stuff in the bottom of it, so we chose not to use it. I did have to ask where the tea was, and I asked if there was a kettle ,no. had to ask for firewood, the BBQ lighters there was only two out of 7 that worked. The solar lights outside our tent didn't all work. Over priced

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here and will definitely book again! Dreamers Writing Farm is peaceful, quiet and provides a great escape from the daily grind. The attention to detail with personal touches in our bungalow made us feel at home away from home. I have already recommended this retreat to family and friends and can’t wait to return!!! ❤️

What a wonderful idea for glamping!!! A great opportunity that the owners capitalized upon! I stayed here with my girlfriend from September 26-28 and stayed in the Brand tent. This was our first ever experience glamping, but it was literally everything we could’ve needed right there — bathrooms, showers, towels, a clean tent with a lovely bed to sleep on, a heater for the nights, plus a kitchenette! All that, plus an amazing view of the stars throughout the night, an outdoor kitchenette, an opportunity to see some animals, and a fire pit. You couldn’t get this kind of experience in a hotel, and for the price it was at, certainly nothing to complain about! Thank you to Kat and the staff for making Dreamer’s Writing Farm as beautiful as it is!
