“Great house with parking in an excellent location. Amazing communication with staff through email and locally. Always ready to assist. House itself was very convenient for us with great comfy beds and washer/dryer unit. won’t fit those that have hard time going up and down the stairs from the main floor to bedrooms. Breakfast at the nearby hotel (1 min walk) was also excellent.”

“Interesting stay. Had fun lighting the fire and cooking our food over it.”

“Great stay”

“This was my favorite accommodation in Japan. It was very cozy and made me feel home. We had the Sennari room. There were 4 beds in two rooms but we only used two. There was a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink with dishes/soap, washer/dryer, kitchen table, sofa. It was two levels with bedrooms upstairs. We never saw our host. It was self check in with a code. It was located in a great area. We were able to walk to and from the train with our luggage. There were several restaurants and shopping very...

“Good location close to train station, easy to go around and walking distance to old town. Large comfortable room.”

“I booked this stay for the first day of the Takayama Autumn Festival so of course the price was crazy high. My issue is that the hotel was supposed to send an email with check in instructions 24 hours in advance, which didn’t happen. Upon arriving at the address after a long day of travel, I had no idea how to get into the room or even who to contact. There was only a sign with a phone number and when I tried calling it, it wouldn’t go through. Finally, I went to a local café owner and asked...

“Parking Spot on back of house and walkable to most things. Beautiful home. Quiet street. Advice remove small step in dining area, my son fell on his elbow because it flipped on him as he stepped down. Finding check in SUCKED. QR code was scannable”
