"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. "This is a most beautiful place for your stay in the centre of old Ravenna! It has a wonderful garden at the back with tall trees and flowers, sitting areas and birds flying about. Generous breakfast, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cereals, pastries etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, large rooms. Small number of rooms, family run. Within short walking distance of some of the major sites to see fabulous mosaics. We did not travel by car, but heard that there is parking available."
