โCheck in was easy, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the overall area was quiet and peaceful. The ability to have a small campfire was a welcome bonus.โ
โWe truly enjoyed our stay in this historical bed and breakfast. Loved all the attention to detail and furnishings from a time long ago. The information, tour of properties and breakfast were far beyond our expectations. If we are ever back in this area would not hesitate a return visit.

โThe room was very nice and the staff were all very helpful.
The only small negatives were the TV was mounted at an angle and the bathroom countertops were very lowโ
โIt was the first time I have ever taken my little dog on a trip. I was worried that the rooms of a hotel that took pets would not be as clean as I like. The room was immaculate. Tbeโ
โPlace was very nice and woman at front desk very Pleasant. The room was large, mattress comfy but there was large stains on the comforter and when I made a cup of coffee in room it was horrible. Maybe machine needs to be cleaned. Probably should have said something but I didnโt. Would go back. โ
โThe hotel is lovely. By their own admission the owners have a notice saying excuse us whilst we renovate. The lodge was fine, we didnโt really notice it wanted much done. The car park was plenty, the room was spacious and comfy. Great views out the back. Convenient for the area, we really liked it. โ
โWe enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The only suggestion would be to request an upstairs room, if possible. The person above us walked around constantly from 6:30am until 8am โ
โReally nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.โ
โWe stay here all the time and we live in CT. A DnD right down the street, Big Y right across the street. Always quiet even though itโs right off the highway (exit 66 on I-95). People are pleasant.โ
โLamplighter Motel is a nice stay. It has the basics required and they let you know at check in that they won't be cleaning your room during your stay. This was fine for us. Very clean, comfortable beds, basic bathroom and our room even had a small refrigerator. Room also has cable tv and the shower was great. The check in was easy and the lady at the desk was very nice. The price was great so if you're looking for high end or extra amenities stay somewhere else and pay for that. This was perfect...
