“Kayce was amazing. She greeted us and introduced herself- the room was clean and had everything we needed- fresh flowers. The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come stay again ”

“This was a favorite place on our travels throughout Scotland. In a peaceful setting, everything was lovely and immaculately cared for, with many extra nice and small touches. Jane and Richard were excellent hosts, welcoming us warmly, sharing helpful suggestions, and providing a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread. This was a great stay and highly recommend! ”

“Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! ”

“Such lovely people! The landlady waited for me to arrive. I was given a room upgrade. Clean room, lovely shower with jets to massage my back and for breakfast the bacon stood out.. The fatty bit was perfectly crispy (how I like it) and tgere was even greek yoghurt for my muesli. Definitely will recommend !”

“One night stay. Bathroom was good with plenty of hot water. Bed could have been better and there was no where to sit besides the bed. ”

“Very nice hotel, center of town, welcoming staff and the food was very good. Floors are a bit creaky due to buildings age. Thurso seems to be a stop for people going on to Orkney, but if i needed a base to see Caithness, i would stay at the Pentland. Single room reasonably priced.”
