We had a wonderful stay at the Jack London Lodge. Check-in was friendly and easy; there was plenty of parking, and the saloon and market are a short 2-minute walk away. We would happily stay here again!

The room and linens were very clean but the beds and chairs were worn out, sagging and very uncomfortable. We liked the pool and hot tub and pretty garden along the creek but probably wouldn’t stay here again. We LOVED our visit to the Jack London Ranch State Park though!

The room was clean. The real problem was that the beds were very uncomfortable; the mattress was topped with a mushy mattress topper that made for a miserable night’s sleep. I would not recommend the Jack London Lodge.

I love the Jack London and stay there whenever I come to wine country. The rooms are a little bit dated at this point, but the Staff is so friendly. The pool and hot tub are lovely. The location can’t be beat.

Nice location. Quiet. Property needs major upgrade. Shower curtains in tub had black mold. Shower head was caked with lime, shower force was uncomfortable, felt like going through a car wash. Cracked tile in bathroom. Pool and hotter needed cleaning.

We stayed before and knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. We live near the coast with fog in the summer and we went to get some sunshine and to enjoy the amenities. We also love the saloon and the French bakery nearby.

Older style rooms. Very pleasant. A little more maintenance would be helpful. The toilet tank ran all the time. The shower handle was stiff and when switched on runs full bore. The alarm clock didn't work. Comfortable bed. Not the neatest.

The area and location was great. Walking distance to food, snacks. The property was well maintained. I thought that the rooms would be a little more updated or maintained, I chose this place for based on the reviews and attached photos. I paid a little more $$$ hoping for the room that was on the site.my wife and I were a little disappointed with the room condition. Everything worked. It wasn’t dirty but a little paint and a mild face lift could go a long way. The mattresses were comfortable descent shower/ bathroom. The pool area looked really nice. I would stay here again.

A lovely motel only a mile or so from Jack London State Park. Big rooms and a well maintained swimming pool and spa made for an enjoyable stay. The motel shared a parking lot with an historic pub, which I am sure Jack London patronized. There was a clean and efficient laundromat and a grocery store just across the street.

This is a hidden gem. It's a little outside of Napa but about half the price. The woman that checked us in was very accommodating. The room have obviously been fairly updated recently. The saloon next door has great atmosphere and the food was tasty at a very reasonable price. It has a beautiful patio out back and we will definitely be back.

Our room was immaculate, as were the entire grounds of the property. The Saloon Nextdoor is a locals spot, friendly and very well maintained. There is live music on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm. We will definitely stay there again. It’s a pretty, and affordable place to stay in the wine country.
