โThe hotel was perfectly located for walking. The room was very clean there was just some lipstick/ makeup marks on the bathroom wall which I didn't expect as the room was expensive. But overall it was a luxury experience. Breakfast was niceโ
โGreat location for exploring the lakes. Staff are chatty and friendly which made me feel at ease as a solo traveller. Excellent meal in the evening and breakfast. Will stay again. โ
โBeautifully clean and tastefully decorated. Central location. Easy walk into the village or down the private access lane to the lake. Badgers are regular visitors as well as red squirrels. โ
โThe staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited.โ
โThe room was comfortable and clean at a high standard. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was all that we needed and tasty. Service at breakfast was also efficient and friendly. The facility was close enough to Ambleside, but far enough to not have all the traffic noise.โ
