Very interesting family and history of industry in the Duluth area. We chose a non-guided tour and found it to be very interesting. People are stations throughout the mansion to answer questions or offer interesting facts. There is a gift shop.

Along the North Shore, this is something worth doing--so much history not only of the family but of the fortunes of Duluth itself. We took ourselves on the tour, rather than buy a guided trip. There are people throughout the building stationed to answer questions. This is a gift shop.

We've toured Glensheen several times in past years. This year we attended the evening bonfire on the beach, and toured the gardens. It's great to see how the UMD finds new ways to enjoy this beautiful place.
