โStayed for a wedding function, staff exceeded expectations from the initial check in, attentive staff, excellent customer experience. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.โ

โHotel short walk from station run by young couple keen to make a difference. Oozes character, surrounded by historic architecture and fits right in. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast.โ
โHighly recommend to stay at Cromwellโs Tap House. Itโs located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. โWe had a meal on the first night which was very good. Guinness pie with mash and an Angus burger. Food was served hot and was very tasty ๐ The room was clean and tidy with a big bathroom. One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc.โ
โExcellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask .
There is free parking but wd parked at the ncp which is literally across the road .โ

โThe property is a hotel/wedding venue. Itโs beautifully decorated. Near to the highway and not far from Strewsbury. Nicely decorated living rooms and outdoor areas to sit in. Nice restaurant. โ
โGreeted by young lady who was very professional and polite with just the right amount of interest before showing me the room, which was clean and spacious with a nice view out of the bay window onto the garden. Breakfast options were available, quality and quantity were very good. Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay.โ
โThe inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. My room at the inn will carry memories, as I am sure is the experience for many. I could have won a walk up a mountain - another time. Thank you and your staff Dai:-)โ
