“The Modernistas hotel is a true gem. We're an American couple who were staying in Rio for one evening. The hotel is small, adorable, unique, and in a terrific area, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs within walking distance. It's also only a short cab ride to famous Rio destinations, including Ipanema, Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, etc. Do keep in mind that this is a very unique establishment and won't be a good fit for some travelers. He provided a lot of info about the area, such as the botanical garden, the mall and the restaurants etc. The hot water shower was the best I had during my trip in Brazil. His house is located in a very nice neighborhood. It’s easy to walk around and find the way back. ”

Senti falta de alguns utensílios básicos, tipo xícaras ou canecas para tomar café, pois há apenas copos de alumínio ou pequenas xícaras de melamina apenas para cafézinho. Também poderia ter uma faca de corte (tem apenas 4 facas pequenas) e um suporte para estender as roupas úmidas do banho de mar, já que estamos em uma estadia...
