We were pleasantly surprised to find this small, roadside motel that was clean and a great rate. The manager was kind and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable. It was like stepping back in time to stay at a Route 66 motel in the 60s. We will stay here again next time we visit Grants. There’s some train noise, but it was not disturbing, and in some ways added to the nostalgic ambiance.

Owner could not have been more nice and helpful. Nice stay and comfortable bed. If you are very critical of cleanliness and are use to new hotels, do not stay here and save the hard working owner your low rating. If you want a comfortable sleep in a safe area, please give them your business. It is a hotel from the Route 66 days.

Clean and quiet, easy access to the rest of the area. The check in clerk has an entire page of things to see and do in the area—a first for me from any motel.

Quite surprised of how clean the rooms were. When I first entered the parking area I thought it wss gonna be another dump. The owner/clerk told me he would refund me even though the internet said no refunds if I didn't like the condition of the room Well, I slept great. Beds were comfy, showers clean. It wad great.
