"Very close to four mile beach, lovely location in Port Douglas. Excellent swimming pool and nice, good sized room. Breakfast was great in the morning with a good amount of options and went on until 10.30am. Sound proofing was poor and could hear guests in the corridors and the rooms next door. Hot tub on balcony was nice but did not work very well. "

The rooms are tired, without basics like a couple of champagne glasses or a wine knife, We had electrical items that didn’t work. $38 for a buffet breakfast which was really basic and fairly tasteless and you could not order a proper coffee with breakfast.. A budget coffee machine that can’t make a flat white and no decaf coffee anywhere on the island. We were directed to the instant coffee sachets. You can have black coffee, black...

"Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great. "

"The tropical garden feel and the gorgeous swimming pool was very lush. Our 1 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen had everything needed for our 5 night stay. The only negatives were, the size of the bathroom was on the small side and the shower tended to flood the whole bathroom floor. "The Staff in Zephyr Restaurant were absolutely brilliant & the food was superb. The Bathroom was not clean & a bit of elbow grease wouldn’t go astray. Room itself was comfortable & quiet. "

"Overall property and service was excellent, great initiative to offer a $10 credit per day if you don’t require your room made up/cleaned daily. Particular mention to Daydream’s maintenance manager Kara who went above and beyond to help us and make us welcome when some tree trimming work impeded some paths. She was wonderful! Would definitely return to this resort. "
